At this point, thee are 23 million illegal immigrants in the US. The cost is astronomical, and even after ICE agents, vacationers and ranchers have been killed, nothing is happening. I support Gov. Brewer and the Minutemen and the Border Patrol. My husband is planning to go down to the border this summer and volunteer. If Obama gives the present illegals amnesty, will he close the border to stop the rest? Shouldn't they go "home" to fix their own country???? The typical comeback is that Jesus abolished that code. This represents a gross misunderstanding of Jesus' views. Jesus himself said in Matthew 5:17-18 17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. In other words, Jesus made it quite plain that if you didn't follow the old laws, he was going to deny you entry into heaven. I think this puts the absurdity of infinite forgiveness and the "Jesus is love" meme to rest. Edward,

I was once an agnostic, and was (and am) honest. I would not become a Christian until three (3) things were proven to me, even that God exists, that evolution is a fallacy, and that the Bible is credible. When they were proven to me to my satisfaction, and after I heard the gospel, I became a Christian.

Regarding your article, if you don’t have the time to read the scriptures, you might consider one chapter of them, even Deuteronomy 28.
