Post-Ike Update

My family and I are doing well.  We lost power at about 1:00am Saturday morning, and are still without power.  Otherwise, we have suffered no damage or other complications.

I am currently in Brenham, Texas, visiting my cousin and her family.

    I am glad everyone is safe. Hopefully you will get your power back soon and people will be able to return to a semi normal life.

    Thanks, Ted. All in all, this situation could have been much worse, considering that the eye of the storm passed within a mile or so of where I live.
