Endorsement
It seems that the quadrennial screw-job election season is about to hit high gear. Hillary Clinton is the runaway candidate in the Socialist Democratic primaries, which is not a surprise considering the media is acting as a 24/7 campaign service for her candidacy. To date, there is no clear front-runner in the Theocratic Republican primaries.
As the parties get closer to choosing their masters candidates, I feel it is time for me to formally endorse a candidate.
I have thought long and hard about my decision, and I think that my endorsement should come as no surprise to my long-time readers.
As of today, I hereby give my official endorsement to None of the Above.
For the Socialists Democrats, we have Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards as the leading contenders. The three of them are almost goose-step lock-step in policy. The only real difference between the three is their gender or their race.
Socialists Democrats have a hard choice ahead of themselves. Having perfected the language of victimization, the Socialists Democrats need to embrace their own poorly-defined bigotries to make their choice. They will be branded as sexists if they oppose Hillary, racists if they oppose Obama, and elitists if they oppose Edwards.
The Theocrats Republicans are not as united in policy as the Socialists Democrats. The Theocratic Republican party is in almost complete disarray; their policies ranging from Liberal to Even More Liberal, as they throw even the most basic tenets of conservativism over the side.
This election is boiled down, in essence, to voting for a liberal or a neocon (which is a liberal pretending to be a conservative). For a staunch libertarian such as me, this leaves a very unpalatable choice.
For those who try to say that Ron Paul is a viable libertarian candidate, I can only say “get real”. While he may allegedly be a libertarian, his isolationist stance is naive, at best.
As it stands right now, it looks as though I will be staying home on election day.

A vote for None Of The Above is a vote for Hitlery et al.
Then present a viable alternative for those whom “conservative” means something more than a political buzz word to be discarded when it becomes inconvenient.
So far, every single “conservative” on the Republican ticket is a big government, big spending, pro-nanny state liberal trying to pass himself off as a conservative.
Fred Thompson is the closest thing to a conservative running in the Republican party, yet he proved his big-goverment, pro-nanny state bent several times, not including his support for a federal marriage amendment.
In short, it does not matter who gets elected this time around; a liberal is going to get elected, D or R notwithstanding.
What? No Fred?
