I do agree that Ann Coulter is a smart woman, and knows full well what she is doing and saying. She is the classic example of an attention whore. She says what she does just to get her name in the headlines, especially when she trying to get the plebes to buy her latest book.

I agree that failure to condemn usually means that one condones what is being said/done. However, the classic attention whore, a category for which Coulter certainly qualifies, believe there is no such thing as bad publicity, and thus thrive on such condemnation. The best thing one can do is just ignore her and deprive her of the attention she so desperately craves.

The problem is that the Republican Neocons don’t shut her up. They let her continue on and on, which to me tells me that they agree with her.
