Stick a fork in him; he’s done
Well, it seems that many Christians in the nation have gotten their marching orders from James Dobson, head of Focus on the Faggots Family. His Holiness has rattled his magic bones, pawed through the entrails of his sacred chicken, and has issued the decree that former Senator Fred Thompson is not Christian enough, and therefore, Christians should not vote for Thompson should he throw his hat into the presidential ring.
Interestingly enough, even before Dobson’s fatwah, Thompson was the only Republican for whom I would even remotely consider voting; this just clinches it.
And, it just warms the cockles of my heart to know there are people like Dobson, who’s job, apparently, is to judge who is and who is not Christian enough to run for public office.
