Ethics charges against Nifong

Mike Nifong, the prosecutor in the Duke rape case has had ethics charges filed against him by the NC Bar Association for his behavior in the Duke case.  It’s about damned time, too.  The post-iceberg Titanic was more watertight than this case, yet he used it to score political points with the NC black community in order to get elected.  If the Bar Association concludes that Nifong violated their ethics codes, then he could be censured or disbarred.

Nifong put his political career ahead of justice, and is now reaping the rewards.
