Shameful admission

As an avid PC user, I have a shameful admission to make. I just got a 1.83Ghz Intel Core Duo Macbook with 512M RAM running OSX 10.4.7. It runs fast and smoother than my desktop 2.6Ghz Athlon64 w/ 1G RAM running WinXP x64.

To benchmark, I fired up as many programs as I could on the PC and took note when the system really started to lag. I opened the same (or equivalent) programs on the Macbook, and it didn’t slow down at all.
