Bush’s First Veto
I was making the rounds through the morning news and came across something that I found really shocking: After having been in office for five and a half years, President Bush used his veto power for the first time ever. I have to say “good for him”.
Regardless of my opinion of whatever perceived benefits may arise from stem-cell research, I strongly believe it is not the government’s job to fund that research. Or any other research, for that matter.
