Update on Star

I just got off the phone with PJ. Star has apparently stopped responding to her cancer treatment. Her doctors are now wanting to move her into a hospice. PJ and Tammy will be making the final decision about this sometime today.

In edit (12:30pm):

I just got off the phone with Mom. They are moving Star into hospice care for the purpose of pain management and to keep her comfortable during her final days. She has stopped responding to her chemo, and her body’s blood cell production is shutting down. Over the last two days, they’ve had to give her at least six units of blood. Any further attempts at chemo will make the situation worse.
