Speaking good of the dead

As we all have undoubtedly heard by now, Senator Ted Kennedy (D – MA) has passed away after a long bout with brain cancer.  Not being one to often speak ill of the dead, I decided that I would find something good to say about Sen. Kennedy.

So, here it goes:

Ted Kennedy was a strong supporter of American commerce.  He almost single-handedly kept many distilleries from going bankrupt, and he should be commended for his life-long dedication to such a worthy goal.

    I’m so happy he’s dead that I won’t speak ill of him either.
